Summer Spatial Institutes show NH teachers to use mapping in the classroom, online and in the field
June 2016 - The NH Educational GIS Partnership will offer seven six institutes spread across across four locations designed to help NH teachers to learn how to use GPS and GIS in the classroom.
The 2016 Summer Spatial Institutes have been expanded from last summer, both in topic and location. Workshops will be offered in Contoocook, Durham, Keene and Lancaster (all in NH) in between late June and mid-August. Topics will range from from GIS and GPS basics, teaching with ArcGIS Online, managing classes and schools in ArcGIS Online, using GIS to work in watersheds, conducting analysis with ArcGIS Online and integrating GIS with reading and writing.
