Setting up your ArcGIS Organizational Account


This workshop is part of the 2017 Summer Spatial Institute

Come learn how to Set up and manage ArcGIS Online Organizational accounts, using ArcGIS Online for analysis and mapping

Summary:
This 1-day workshop will help you understand how ArcGIS Online can be used in your classroom and in your school! The use of ArcGIS Online through a subscription account (free for all K-12 schools or K-12 informal programs) expands basic online mapping to include tools using analysis, collaboration, and the creation of engaging interactive maps. Examples covered on this day will include web apps, analyzing and sharing scientific data, and creating online map galleries. Participants will be guided through the process of finalizing and "setting up" a previously-requested subscription account for their school.

In this workshop, we will cover:
  • getting a ArcGIS Online Organization subscription
  • "setting-up" your organizational account for collaboration

You will have the opportunity to earn:
  • $100 stipend from the GeoPRiSM MSP project     
  • Graduate credits from Keene State College
