NH educators broaden their GIS teaching skills at Esri's Teachers Teaching Teachers Institute in Redlands, CA
June 2014 - Three NH educators brought back new ideas for teaching GIS in the classroom from the Teacher Teaching Teachers (T3G) institute at Esri's headquarters this summer.
Esri’s newest technology is being used to promote the use of GIS in K-12 education through the NH Educational GIS Partnership. Two New Hampshire school teachers attended T3G this summer, Derek De Angelis from Bow High School and Patti Dugan-Henriksen from the Stratford Public School, as well as Extension Specialist Shane Bradt from UNH Cooperative Extension. The newly-gained knowledge was put to work right away to use during the 2014 Summer Spatial Institutes offered by the NH Educational GIS Partnership.
